Website Terms of Use
1. Company and Acceptance
This website is operated by Loc Eight Mobile (PTY) LTD T/A Loc8 Mobile, registration number 2018/2766, from Unit 62 to 64 Ground Floor, Maerua Mall, Cnr of Jan Jonker and Centaurus Road, Windhoek, Namibia. By using the website, you agree to these Website Terms. If you do not agree, you should stop using the website.
2. Website Purpose
The website provides general institutional, corporate, platform, coverage-location and service information for operators, MVNOs, digital brands, ISPs, carriers, enterprises, institutions and potential partners.
The website does not itself conclude a telecommunications service contract, grant network access, reserve capacity, confirm coverage or create a binding commercial offer.
3. Coverage and Availability
Coverage and planned scale-up views are strategic and indicative. Actual service availability depends on the requested location, service, customer equipment, network configuration, terrain, infrastructure, partner capacity, technical design and agreed commercial scope.
Planned stages and national-direction views are forward-looking and may change. They are not measured radio-frequency propagation maps, guaranteed rollout commitments or representations that every road, market or location will receive service by a specified date.
4. Platform and Third-Party Infrastructure
References to national, regional, international, satellite, cable, route, node or partner infrastructure may include third-party services or access pathways. Inclusion on the website does not imply that Loc8 owns every route, node, tower, cable, satellite platform or facility shown or described.
Third-party services remain subject to provider availability, licensing, capacity, service scope and contractual terms.
5. No Professional or Investment Advice
Website information is not legal, regulatory, engineering, financial or investment advice. A person should obtain appropriate professional advice and conduct its own assessment before acting on the information.
6. Intellectual Property
The website, Loc8 name, logos, graphics, maps, text, software, layouts and other materials are owned by or licensed to Loc8 unless stated otherwise. They may not be copied, modified, reproduced, distributed or commercially used without prior written permission, except as permitted by law.
7. Acceptable Use
A user must not interfere with the website, attempt unauthorised access, introduce malicious code, scrape or extract information at scale, misuse the enquiry form, impersonate another person, submit unlawful content or use the website to infringe the rights of Loc8 or another person.
8. Enquiries and Submissions
A submitted enquiry must be accurate and lawful. Submission authorises Loc8 to use the information to assess and respond to the enquiry in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
An automated acknowledgement confirms receipt only. It does not confirm service availability, acceptance, partnership, pricing, capacity, technical feasibility or a binding commitment.
9. Links and External Services
The website may link to third-party websites or rely on third-party services. Loc8 is not responsible for external content, availability or privacy practices and a link does not necessarily constitute endorsement.
10. Accuracy and Changes
Loc8 aims to keep public information accurate and current but does not warrant that all content is complete, error-free or continuously available. Loc8 may correct, update, suspend or remove content without notice, subject to applicable law and regulatory duties.
11. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Loc8 is not liable for indirect, consequential or special loss arising solely from use of or reliance on the public website. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
12. Consumer and Regulatory Rights
Nothing in these Terms removes rights or remedies available under the Communications Act, 2009, applicable CRAN regulations or another applicable law. Where a person becomes a customer, the written service contract, applicable quality-of-service requirements and complaint procedure will apply.
A service complaint should first be submitted through the applicable Loc8 customer or service channel. Where the law permits, an unresolved complaint may be referred to CRAN under the applicable complaints or dispute-adjudication procedure.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Namibia. Subject to any mandatory regulatory procedure, the courts of Namibia have jurisdiction over disputes relating to the website.
